This piece of Abstract Expressionism by Clyfford Still (PH-972, 1959) somehow conveys nature to me. The colors are warm and the shapes almost resemble a navajo print. How do you feel about it?

Talk about interiors as art. Claire Coles is based out of the UK and does custom wallpaper installations. She layers vintage wallpapers and embroiders them with silks and leathers for a truly unique space.
such good energy coming from those rocks
Who wouldn’t want to do dishes in this sink? The S-curve design is actually a trademark of the German Silver Sink Company. This sink actually appears in a butler’s pantry, one of my favorite rooms, in Alabama.
The newly opened Mr. C Hotel is shaping up to be another Beverly Hills landmark. I’m loving the high style of this bar, paired with unconventional bar stools. A fresh idea, shaken not stirred.
What an amazing display of marble. The marble sinks are designed by Colin Cuarto and are the perfect complement to the fixtures. Check out those sconces, reclaimed from an Italian Hotel. Molto bello!
Cool and chic. Details magazine is calling it the rebirth of the ice cube. The Cirrus Ice Ball Press makes a perfect sphere of ice to cool your drinks. What a great conversation starter at a dinner party.
My favorite finds of the San Francisco Fall Antiques show which opens tonight. I got a private preview last night with the rest of the members of the Designer Circle. Great fun. Get shopping before its all gone. Last year I missed out on the John Dickensen table!
